When we pulled
Alfie from the pound, he was so matted and dirty that we weren’t sure what he
was. A thorough grooming revealed an adorable, playful Cocker Spaniel mix. Alfie

Manny came to us
as a young kitten after being hit by a car and left to suffer. A good samaritan
who saw the accident took him to a local vet where a BHS volunteer was working.
Now a handsome 6 month old, Manny has recovered well from a broken tail and
pelvis. He will likely still have to have a portion of his tail removed, but
that hasn’t slowed this playful boy down. Manny is neutered and up to date on
